Publisher and developer Capcom has announced that it will release the previously announced three Resident Evil games for Nintendo Switch on May 21. These are Resident Evil 0, 1, and 4.

Capcom reports on Twitter that the three Resident Evil games will be available on the Nintendo Switch eShop from May 21, and any orders can be placed from February 28. European Switch owners can purchase the three titles separately. It is not known whether physical copies of the games will also appear in Europe. Probably only in the US a physical bundle available.

The three titles were previously released for an older Nintendo console. For example, in 2002 Capcom released a revamped version of the original Resident Evil for the GameCube; this was a remake of the original Resident Evil that came out for the PlayStation in 1996. Also in 2002, Resident Evil Zero, the successor to Resident Evil 1, was released for the GameCube and three later it was Resident Evil 4’s turn.

The publisher released a remake of Resident Evil 2 for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Windows at the end of last month. This title originally came out in 1998 for the PlayStation. Whether this remake will also be released for the Nintendo Switch is unknown.
