The Walking Dead: Saints & Sinners – Chapter 2 is coming to PSVR and PSVR2

The sequel to The Walking Dead: Saints & Sinners will be released in late 2022 for PSVR and in 2023 for PSVR2. Chapter 2: Retribution was previously announced for Steam and Oculus, but now more details have been revealed about the VR game.

The Walking Dead: Saints & Sinners – Chapter 2: Retribution is a standalone game with new characters and enemies. The VR title will be released on PSVR, Steam, and Oculus in late 2022, two years after the original game’s release. The game is coming in 2023 according to Sony also to the unreleased PSVR2†

New include silencers and weapons such as an SMG, a sawed-off shotgun and a chainsaw. Another gameplay change is the ability to go on an expedition at night. According to Sony, Saints & Sinners’ second installment is “as comprehensive and compelling as ever.”

Sony states that stealth is becoming a lot more important. So players can hide from ‘walkers’. Torches have also been added to distract zombies. Furthermore, abandoned survival bags can be found in the darkness. The walkers’ animations have also reportedly been expanded, which should make them more responsive to the environment.
