Tesla delivered another record number of 422,875 cars last quarter

Tesla delivered 422,875 cars in the first quarter of this year, the majority of which consisted of Model 3 and Y deliveries. That is another new record for the company. Tesla produced a total of 440,808 cars last quarter.

Tesla delivered in the past quarter a total of 412,180 Model 3 and Y cars. The company does not mention separate figures for the Model 3 and Model Y. 10,695 units of the Model S and X versions were delivered last quarter. Tesla delivered a total of 422,875 cars.

The number of deliveries is another quarterly record for Tesla. The company has also broken its personal record in the past few quarters. In the last quarter of 2022, the company delivered a total of 405,278 cars, of which 388,131 were Model 3 and Model Y versions. In the first quarter of last year, the company delivered 310,048 cars.

Tesla’s production rose less rapidly last quarter. The company produced 440,808 cars last quarter, of which 421,371 were Model 3s and Model Ys. This means that Tesla produced 1,107 more cars than in the previous quarter. Compared to the first quarter of 2022, production increased by 44 percent.

Tesla CEO Elon Musk said in January that the company wants to deliver two million cars to customers this year, also reports Reuters. That would represent an increase of 52 percent compared to 2022. Last year, the company’s deliveries grew by 40 percent compared to 2021.
