The Consumer Electronics Show will resume physically in Las Vegas in 2022, but a digital variant will also remain. In recent years, more than a hundred thousand visitors came to the tech fair. This year the physical fair was canceled due to corona.

The show will take place January 5-8 in Las Vegas, with two media days preceding January 3 and 4. During those days before the fair, many major manufacturers announce their main products. More than 1,000 companies have pledged to attend CES 2022, according to the Consumer Technology Association, which includes AMD, Intel, Google, Samsung, LG, Panasonic, Amazon and Sony.

The organization says it will come up with safety measures against the corona virus, but details have not yet been released. The CTA says it will adhere to the guidelines of the American RIVM and those of the state of Nevada. In addition to a physical fair, there will also be a digital variant. The keynotes from major companies can always be seen via live streams, but CES 2021 took place completely digitally for the first time, with a digital exhibition environment. So it will return next year.

The annual CES trade fair is the time for TV and laptop manufacturers in particular to show their new models. In recent years, processor news has also increasingly come out around the stock market. For example, AMD held a keynote with important introductions in recent years. At the last physical edition of the fair, which took place at the beginning of 2020, there were 4,400 exhibitors and approximately 170,000 visitors, according to the organization.
