Disney+ will release the second season of Star Wars: The Bad Batch on the streaming service this fall. The sequel to the 2021 animated series once again centers on Omega and the members of the clone squad Clone Force 99.

Season 2 seems to take a small time jump after the events of the first season. Some of the main characters seem to have aged a bit since the end of season 1. Also some characters have a slightly different appearance; For example, Hunter wears a scarf in the first trailer, while Omega wears a helmet from now on.

It is not yet clear when the second season of Star Wars: The Bad Batch will take place. In any case, the story continues in the aftermath of the Clone Wars, the events following Senator Palpatine’s intergalactic seizure of power. The “flawed” group of clones is once again trying to find a place in a post-Order 66 universe.

The show is once again created by Dave Filoni, the director who was previously responsible for Star Wars: The Clone Wars and Star Wars: Rebels. Jennifer Corbett co-writes the animated series with Filoni. Dee Bradley Baker once again plays all the clones from the Bad Batch and Michelle Ang takes on the role of Omega again.
