Spotify further expands test DJ function with AI voice

Spotify has released the beta version of the DJ function in dozens of new countries, although the Benelux is not yet included. Originally, the AI ​​feature was only available in North America and later in part of Great Britain.

DJ is a new Spotify feature where an AI-powered ‘DJ’ makes personalized music suggestions and explains the choices like a kind of radio DJ. The function is currently only available in English and can now be tested by Spotify Premium users in fifty countries. Ireland, Malta and Sweden are currently the only European countries where the function is available. Furthermore, the beta version of DJ is now being released in various countries in Africa, Oceania, the Caribbean and South and South-East Asia.
