Intel seems to be planning to release a new member in the Core i7 series with the 8086K. The new cpu within the Coffee Lake-S seems to get similar specifications to the Core i7 8700K, and would be released in honor of the 40th anniversary of the 8086 processor.
According to the rumors, Intel released the 8086K in honor of the fortieth anniversary of the first 8086 processor. However, Intel itself has not published anything about it yet, as a result of which the exact release date and introductory price is not yet known. It is not the first time that Intel has released a anniversary edition of a processor; previously it did so because of the twentieth anniversary of Pentium.
