South Korean manufacturer Wasabi Mango has released its UHD430 display. It is a 43″ monitor with a resolution of 3840×2160 pixels and a refresh rate of 120Hz. The screen must be connected with two displayport cables.

Wasabi Mango reports on its website that the screen uses an ah-ips panel and that the monitor has a maximum brightness of 400cd/m². There is support for HDR display and the contrast is 1200:1.

There are two displayport 1.4 connections on the monitor and both must be used to display the 4k resolution at 120Hz. A user posted a video of the screen on YouTube showing that the refresh rate does indeed work at 120Hz.

The South Korean manufacturer sells the screen through eBay for $1400. Converted with VAT, that is about 1414 euros. The Wasabi Mango UHD430 is the first 4k monitor with a 120Hz refresh rate actually on sale.

Asus and Acer have previously announced 4k monitors with a 144Hz refresh rate, but they have been delayed more than once. These 27″ monitors, which also feature an Nvidia G-Sync module and support HDR, are likely to be released at the end of May.
