Sony is releasing two small, new travel zooms, the Cyber-shot DSC-HX90V with evf and the DSC-WX500. The cameras with 30 times optical zoom will be launched in June and cost 470 euros and 400 euros respectively.

Both cameras have a Zeiss 30x optical zoom with a field of view of converted 24-720 mm. The image sensor is an 18.2MP BSI cmos. You can view the snapshots via the 180-degree tiltable LCD screen. Videos can be shot at 1080/60p. Both cameras have WiFi and NFC. The more expensive HX90V has a pop-up electronic viewfinder and GPS. Sony first applied the system with the pop-up EVF in the RX100 III last year.

Despite the fact that the dimensions of both cameras are identical, they both measure 102 by 58 by 36 millimeters, the finish of the HX90V is slightly more luxurious with a grip on the side and a ribbed ring around the lens.
