YUMI, which stands for Your Universal Multiboot Installer, has arrived at version 0.1.0.5. YUMI is a Windows program that allows the installation ISOs of a large number of Linux distributions to be placed on a USB stick, but also from a Windows installation, antivirus rescue CD or other tool. This means that they no longer have to be burned to a CD or DVD first, but the installation can be performed from the self-starting USB stick. What sets YUMI apart is that several ISOs can be added, which end up as choices in a boot menu. Since version 0.0.9.7, the following changes and improvements have been made:
