Software update: XnViewMP 0.26 beta

Regular visitors to the Meuktracker are undoubtedly familiar with XnView, a free program for viewing and editing images. There are versions for Windows, Linux and Mac OS X, but the latter two are less developed. Pierre Gougelet has also been developing XnViewMP for a while, which stands for XnView Multi Platform. XnViewMP uses the same source code for Windows, Linux and Mac OS X. The versions will therefore have almost the same functionality and appearance. These include support for unicode, full-bit depth images, an easier way to translate, and a better database. A new beta release was released on Tuesday, with the following changelog:
