Version 6.0.3 of WordPress has been released. With this program, which is made available under a GPL license, it is possible to set up and maintain a website or blog. WordPress is easy to set up and can be up and running within five minutes if a server with PHP and MySQL is already available. There are possibilities to further extend the functionality of WordPress with plugins and the appearance with themes to adjust. Version 6.0.3 is a so-called security release in which various security vulnerabilities have been fixed.

This release features several security fixes. Because this is a security release, it is recommended that you update your sites immediately. All versions since WordPress 3.7 have also been updated. WordPress 6.0.3 is a short cycle release. The next major release will be version 6.1 planned for November 1, 2022.
