Software update: Wipe 2.42

Wipe is a free program that can clean a Windows computer; in that respect, it’s similar to Piriform’s CCleaner. Wipe is intended for erasing the traces that a user leaves on a computer and especially on the Internet. Support is available for the most common browsers and, according to their own words, hundreds of programs. Incidentally, the tracks are not just thrown in the trash, but use is made of secure-wipe according to the DoD 5220.22-Mguidelines. Version 2.42 of Wipe was released on Tuesday, and because this is the first time that this program is featured in the Meuktracker, we give a somewhat longer overview of changes:
