Corel has updated its Winzip archiver to version 12.0. Winzip used to be a popular program on the PC, but with zip support baked into newer versions of Windows and competition from programs like WinRAR and 7-Zip, its popularity has been on a wane for a while. Since version 10.0 there are two different versions; a standard and a pro version. The first costs thirty euros, the other fifty euros over the counter.
