Software Update: WinSnap 3.1.0

Spread the love

WinSnap is a program for Windows to take and edit screenshots. Of course you can also use the print screen button in combination with Paint for this, but according to the developers of Winsnap you miss a lot of functionality. For example, the program supports the ‘recording’ of rounded corners, which are frequently used in various XP and Vista graphics themes. In addition, some operations can be performed on the images, such as rotating and adding a shadow or watermark. The developers have released version 3.1.0 with the following list of changes:

Version 3.1.0:

  • WinSnap now officially supports the upcoming Windows 7 (32-bit and 64-bit)
  • Windows 7: Added task list (jump list) to the WinSnap icon on the taskbar
  • Added ability to capture complex menus of Office 2007 applications (Object mode)
  • Several improvements to the WinSnap installer (graphics, icons, etc)
  • Fixed an issue with keyboard shortcuts (Esc and other) in the Object mode
  • Some other minor improvements and bug fixes
