Software Update: WinRAR 2.90 Beta 3

Jeldert informed us via the news submit that WinRAR 2.90 Beta 3 is out. Unfortunately it is changelog not yet adapted, but in a text file of the download itself it quickly becomes clear what has been improved in this version:

1. Previous beta versions could not unpack more than 400-500 archives at once using Explorer context menu “Extract Here” command. This limitation is removed now.

2. Bug fixed:

a) Total progress bar was not displayed when unpacking RAR archives;

b) RAR icon was not associated with the compression window when executing winrar.exe from the command line.
