A new version of the Wine program can be published on the Wine HQ site since yesterday downloaded† it concerns version 0.9.19, which is available via this link can be downloaded from different servers. Using Wine, it is possible to run DOS and Windows programs on POSIX-based operating systems, including Linux and FreeBSD. Wine can run DOS and Windows applications by first loading them into a program loader and then comparing the Windows API calls to its Unix and X11 counterparts through its own libraries.
