Microsoft has released Windows Virtual PC 6.1.7234.0 release candidate for Windows 7. With Windows Virtual PC you can run a virtual machine within Windows 7 on which Windows XP, Vista or 7 can be installed. As a result, applications can be run in their own environment, for example because an application does not work correctly under Windows 7, but does work correctly under Windows XP. Note: Virtual application feature not supported on Windows Vista Business Service Pack 1 (SP1) and Windows 7 Professional SKUs

Note: Upgrade from Windows Virtual PC Beta to Windows Virtual PC RC is not supported. Uninstall Windows Virtual PC Beta and Windows XP Mode Beta, before installing this RC release.
