Download Windows Media Player 9.0 Build 9.0.000.3

Yesterday, Microsoft released a new version of their Windows Media Player 9. The reason for the update, which has been given version number 9.0.000.3, is clearly stated:

SYMPTOMS – When you add multimedia files that have custom file extensions to the Media Library, Windows Media Player 9 Series categorizes these media files as Other Media, instead of as All Music or as All Video.
CAUSE – By default, Windows Media Player 9 Series only categorizes known extensions as All Music or as All Video.
