Software Update: Windows 2000 CD-ROM Patch

TP70 aka Georgio sent us the link to a patch that should fix problems with the CD-ROM drive in Windows2000. Note: This patch only works under the English version of Win2k. (Thanks to InterCC) Microsoft posted the following notes on their site:

Windows 2000 Patch: Stop Error Message When Using CD-Rom

Microsoft has released a patch that will resolve the “Stop 0x00000050” error message. This issue is caused by a problem in Udfs.sys that does not calculate a file name’s length correctly. This problem may occur intermittently. Download now to prevent the “Stop Error” message from occurring.
