Software update: Winamp 5.7 build 3435 beta 11

A new beta release of Winamp version 5.7 has become available. This media player can be downloaded in different variants. The Lite version can only play music files; the Full version also allows viewing video files and listening to Shoutcast broadcasts. Furthermore, the Full version has a media library and can be used to rip CDs. Finally, there is the Pro version, which costs 15.50 euros. The Pro version allows you to encode files, burn CDs and play video files with h264 compression, among other things.

New in version 5.7, of which only the Full version can be downloaded as a beta release, is Winamp Cloud. With this service you also have, for example, a android device access your music. Furthermore, it is possible to start Winamp in safe mode and the integration with multimonitor environments and Windows 8 has been improved. Unlike the previous ten beta releases, no changes have been made this time around.
