Software update: Webmin 1.050

With Webmin it is possible to easily manage a Unix-like machine via a web interface. Possibilities to create new users to set up various network components can be found here. Version 1.050 has recently seen the light of day and the changelog looks like this:

Version 1.050 (16 Dec 2002)

  • Fixed a bug that could cause a Javascript error on every page!
  • A couple of other minor bug fixes

Version 1.040 (13 Dec 2002)

  • Added width and height tags to all images in the MSC theme, so that it appears better in Mozilla and Netscape
  • Updated the CD Burner module to support copying a CD with only a single drive
  • Added support for specifying an existing Webalizer config file for use when processing a logfile
  • Added module access control options for the Usermin module
  • Added SRV record type support to the BIND module
  • Fixed the GRUB module to correctly identify BIOS drive numbers from Linux device files
  • The Webmin RPM is now PGP signed, and a signature is available for the tar.gz version. See the download page for details
  • Many more small bug fixes and improvements
