Software update: VMware Workstation Player 14.1.3 build 9474260
VMware has released version 14.1.3 Workstation Player. Player is free software that allows virtual machines to be created and run. However, a fee is required for commercial use. It is simply a simplified implementation of other VMware products, such as Workstation Pro Server and ESX Server. The virtual machines from Microsoft Virtual PC and Symantec LiveState Recovery disks are also supported. In addition, various pre-installed virtual machines can be downloaded via this page such as Debian, Ubuntu and Fedora. In this update we find a newer version of OpenSSL and the L1TF security vulnerability has been fixed.
