Vivaldi Technologies has released an update to version 1.1 of its web browser of the same name. Vivaldi is being developed by former Opera employees. He mainly focuses on power users and users of Opera before the switch to Chromium, although this browser is also based on it. Vivaldi has extensive capabilities such as mouse gestures, tab stacking, extended keyboard shortcuts, and annotation on web pages. The browser is free and is being developed for Windows, Linux and OS X. The release notes for this release are as follows:

Minor update to Vivaldi 1.1

Today we released a minor update to Vivaldi 1.1. We now provide more detailed security information in developer tools, updated our Chromium engine with security updates from upstream and fixed an issue with Vivaldi failing to install on Ubuntu 12.04.

Windows and Mac users will receive the update via our autoupdate system. Linux users should receive an update via our deb and rpm repositories.
