Oracle has released the second update for version 4.1 of VirtualBox. VirtualBox can be used to install other operating systems in a virtual environment on a computer. In this way it is possible to use different operating systems on the same hardware side by side and at the same time. VirtualBox is available for Windows XP and above, Mac OS X, Linux, and Solaris, and is capable of many guest operating systems to turn.

The VirtualBox download contains only open source components. Some features, including support for USB 2.0 ports and the remote display protocol, are closed source and can be added by installing the VirtualBox Extension Pack. This one extension is under a Personal Use and Evaluation license, i.e. PUEL† In version 4.1.4 the following changes and improvements have been made:
