Software Update: TVTool 9.5

The programmers behind TVTool have version 9.5 released† This program is intended for nVidia video cards with TV-out and can software tweak the output to your own liking. In this release even more remote controllers are supported and a series of bug fixes have been made. The update is available from here be taken down, while registered users on this page can go to. TVTool 9.5 introduces a number of new features, improvments and important bug fixes. Especially the infrared part has been changed a lot. With the new options TVTool supports more infrared remote controls than the leading IR program from a competitor :-). An overview of the changes:

• The position for the secondary device can be selected
• A toolbar fix was integrated
• Brightness adjustment for Conexant chips
• Screensaver and energy settings are disabled on the fly now
• Infrared configuration can be saved
• Bandwith of infrared signal can be adjusted
• Toggle bit elimination function
• Drop down controls for the IR commands
• New command line parameters: /zoom, /resize/, /sendi2c xx xx
• Info message when soundcard is selected with hotkeys
• Picture position for Conexant chips adjusted newly
• 720×480 modes for Philips SAA7104 and SAA7108A fixed
• Force TV detection improved
• Switching back to monitor on GF2-MX and GF3 fixed
