Software Update: TVTool 7.1

TVTool is a program with which you can manage the TV-Out functions of your GeForce or TNT video card down to the last detail. Version 7.1 was recently released with few changes except multi-monitor support, so TVTool no longer works on Windows 95 as it doesn’t support it. The release notes look like this:

Although there are no big optical differences between TVTool 7.1 and the previous version, there were some important changes under the surface of the program. The main difference is that TVTool is multi monitor capable now. If you use a monitor and a TFT display on one graphics card for example, you can switch each head to TV mode without affecting the other head. Even if only one display device is attached to the card besides the TV there are advantages, a more detailed explanation is found here† By the way TVTool is not compatible with Windows 95 anymore, because this OS doesn’t have multi monitor capabilities.
