Software Update: Trillian Basic 0.74g

As we reported in a news story earlier today, a number of security vulnerabilities have been found in the Instant Messengers Trillian and Trillian Pro. Cerulean Studios, the developer of Trillian, has responded quickly by providing patches that fix the problem. There’s a patch for it Trillian 0.74 (freeware) and Trillian Pro 1.0, 2.0 and 2.01 (all shareware). Owners of Trillian Pro can pick up the patch at this page, which is only available to users who have purchased the program.
