Software update: Transmission 1.80

The developers of Transmission released version 1.80 of their eponymous program on Wednesday. Transmission is a lightweight cross-platform open source bittorrent client with a simple interface. The program was developed for use under Mac OS X, but the download page also includes versions for Linux, Solaris, FreeBSD and some NAS systems. Version 1.80 includes many user-provided changes, including support for magnet files and trackerless torrents. • Add “Start When Added” checkbox when adding torrents
