Software Update: Total Commander 9.21a

Spread the love

Despite rigorous testing, there were still some minor errors in Total Commander version 9.21, which is why a successor has appeared. This program can be used as a replacement for Windows Explorer. Splitting the image in half makes it easy to copy files, but the program can do much more. There are various ways to modify files, there is a built-in ftp client and a multirename tool, and there is support for a large number of compression formats. Furthermore, the functionality with plugins be expanded. In version 9.21a, the following improvements have been made:

Fixed:

  • Compare by content: Disable button “Show only differences” during comparison, otherwise clicking it in the wrong moment could cause a crash (32/64)
  • Ctrl+E and ESC (only with auto-complete+auto-append disabled) no longer worked in command line (32/64)
  • Icons in menus: Selected items could no longer be shown as pressed buttons instead of checkmarks after saving icon options once (32/64)
  • Crash when passing path to zip file to TC (eg from external Everything.exe), mostly on 64-bit (32/64)
