Software Update: Total Commander 8.52a RC 1

An update to Total Commander version 8.52 is in the works and the release candidate has now been released. This program can be used as a replacement for Windows Explorer. Splitting the image in half makes it easy to copy files, but the program can do much more. There are various ways to modify files, a built-in ftp client and a multi-rename tool, and there is support for a large number of compression formats. Furthermore, the functionality can be plugins be expanded. As the small jump in version number suggests, the new release will contain virtually no new features but only bug fixes.

What’s new?
This is purely a bugfix release, which fixes bugs found after the release of TC 8.52 final.
