Software Update: Total Commander 8.51 Beta 1

The final release of Total Commander version 8.50 was recently released and despite extensive testing, a few minor bugs were found. That is why Christian Ghisler has started the 8.51 development trajectory, in which only problems will be solved. This program can be used as a replacement for Windows Explorer. Splitting the image in half makes it easy to copy files, but the program can do much more. There are various ways to modify files, there is a built-in ftp client and a multirename tool, and there is support for a large number of compression formats. Furthermore, the functionality can be plugins be expanded. The release notes for version 8.51 look like this:

There are no severe bugs in 8.50 which would require an immediate release of a new version. The release of TC 8.51 is planned for sometimes next month (March).
