Software update: Tixati 1.99

Version 1.99 of Tixati has been released. Tixati is a comprehensive, lightweight and efficient bittorrent client with support for dht, magnet links and rss feeds. The program provides extensive information about all aspects of the download and the incoming and outgoing network traffic. Downloads are available for Windows and Linux. The program does not display advertisements, unlike for example µTorrent. In this release, several minor issues with dht have been fixed and the integration with Linux has been improved. Furthermore, the development of version 2.0 has started, but what will change in that has not yet been announced.

Tixati version 1.99 has been released.

• 20% wider DHT announce pattern to improve reliability in less-populated torrents
• Improved remote WebUI performance under heavy file-transfer conditions
• Fixed Linux magnet: and dsc: link shell association
• Minor changes to Linux ACPI dbus messages for better compatibility
• Minor adjustments to Channel streaming algorithms to improve performance with marginal bandwidth
• Several additional RSS compatibility improvements
• Many other minor fixes throughout the program
