Software update: TeamViewer 8.0 build 19617

An update for version 8.0 of TeamViewer has been released. This program allows remote management of other computers via a secure VPN connection. TeamViewer is free for non-commercial use and is being developed for Windows, Linux, OS X, iOS and Android. New in version 8 includes the ability to transfer a session to another, add notes after a session, and record online meetings in Outlook. There is also a management console, in which, among other things, user accounts can be managed. The following changes and improvements have also been made in this update:

• It’s now possible to use find as you type in all Computers & Contacts list dialogs
• The TeamViewer meeting panel can be docked to the left/right side of the screen. This will also optimize the presented screen.
