Software update: Tag&Rename 3.7.5 beta 1

Softpointer has released a new beta release of Tag&Rename. With this program, the music collection can be organized and managed. The application has extensive options for modifying both file names and tags. Almost all known and lesser known formats are supported, including mp3, ogg, wma, mp4, flac, ape, aac and wav. Information can be entered manually, filtered from the file name, or pulled from one of the many databases on the Internet. In version 3.7.5 the following changes and improvements have been made:

• Re-added xml export
• Export fields can be selected in in csv and xml export now
• Added files rename variables for Initial Key, Show Title, Episode ID, Season Number and Episode Number
• Added “Play” button into “Tag Editor” window
• Added “Show icons instead of text in Lyrics files list column” option in Advanced options
• Added “Map APE/OGG “Album Artist” tag frame to “ALBUMARTIST” instead of “ALBUM ARTIST”” option in Advanced options
• Added “On saving Wav tag” option in Advanced options
• Added “Properties” menu item into files list file menu
• DSF files added to Tag&Rename shell extensions
• Added %khz – sampling rate variable in folder renaming
• Added “Hide Selected Files” button in filter toolbar
• Improved flac support
• Minor improvements
