Software Update: SyncBackFree 6.5.22.0

2Brightsparks has released version 6.5.22.0 of SyncBackFree. This program is the simplest and therefore also free implementation of the backup software that this company has to offer. In addition to making backups, SyncBackFree can also synchronize data. This can be to a location on the same disk, another disk, another medium such as a CD-RW or a USB stick, an ftp server or a zip archive. In addition to SyncBackFree, there are SyncBackSE and SyncBackPro, which for 29 and 46 euros respectively is a lot additional functionality offer. The following changes and improvements have been made in this release:

• Fallback to backup copying method when access denied is now enabled by default
• Application manifest updated to fix blurry text on high DPI displays
• RunAfterFileCompare can now set the action to CACTION_ERROR

Fixed:

• Spurious FTP licensing errors when running multiple FTP profiles in parallel
• Chance of resuming an SFTP upload increased
• Renaming large version files on Amazon S3
• Open Source/Destination will now use supplied network credentials
• Items on File collision window may be drawn in wrong place in some situations
• Help window automatically closed when a windows is opened or displayed (to stop help window locking-up)
• Uncompress failures for some files when using highest or lowest level of LZMA compression
