Software Update: Sumatra PDF 3.4.1

A new version of Sumatra PDF has been released. This open source program allows viewing of various document formats, including pdf, chm, and DjVu. In addition, it can handle epub and mobi ebooks, and cbz and cbr comic books. Compared to Adobe Reader, it is very light and therefore also suitable for older computers. Since version 3.3.3, the following changes and improvements have been made:

  • Support .svg files
  • Faster scrolling with mouse wheel when cursor over scrollbar
  • Add -search cmd-line option and [Search(“<file>”, “<search-term>”)] DDE command
  • A way to get list of used fonts in properties window
  • Support opening .heic image files (if Windows heic codec is installed)
  • Add experimental smooth scrolling (enabled with SmoothScroll advanced setting)
