SpywareStopper 5.7 can be found on the SpyBlocker website. Not only does this program work as a scanner like Ad-aware to remove current spyware, but it is also capable of preventing spyware. For example, ActiveX components and Internet cookies can be disabled or selectively allowed. In addition, you can get a warning with new cookies and save them or not. The program is free to try for 15 days, but after that you will need to pay US$20 to continue using it. A changelog was not available, so we close with a quote from the site:
