Software update: SpotGrit 1.4.0 build 37065

An update of SpotGrit has been released. After the usenet community FTD was forced to close its doors in 2011, various initiatives have arisen that should make downloading files via usenet easier. One of these was Spotnet, which works through ‘spots’, suggestions made by users. SpotGrit provides an all-in-one solution for finding, downloading (via SABnzbd) and extracting files from usenet. The program has more options and better anti-spam capabilities, but it does require version 4.0 of the .NET Framework and Microsoft SQL Server. The following improvements have been made in this update:

What’s New in Version 1.4.0

• Large Data Stream bug fix.
  Microsoft has applied an adjustment in the .NET Framework so that large flows of data cannot be processed in one go. We have now overcome this.
• Installer for SpotGrit 1.4.0 updated.
