Software update: SpamNet 1.0.2

Cloudmark has released a new version of their SpamNet program. This bears the version number 1.0.2. This anti-spam program works by making a so-called ‘fingerprint’ of an incoming e-mail and checking it with the ‘fingerprints’ in the Cloudmark database, when it appears that this e-mail is spam, it is blocked. The changelog tells us the following, and for the sake of completeness we also mention the previous two:

SpamNet 1.0.2 – 5/08/03
Active Scan stability improvements – This release improves the stability of Active Scan. SpamNet members who experienced freezing when Blocking or when checking new mail will find this issue resolved.

SpamNet 1.0.1 – 4/29/03
Subscription improvements – This release improves the SpamNet subscription process making it faster and easier to navigate.
