Download SlimBrowser 4.08.100

FlashPeak updated SlimBrowser to version 4.08 build 100 yesterday. SlimBrowser uses Internet Explorer’s internal engine to build its web pages, and adds some useful features, such as a pop-up blocker, tabbed browsing, RSS reader and a quick-search bar. Biggest change in this release is full support for Unicode, which unfortunately means that this version can no longer be used under Windows 95, 98 and Me. Also, the different languages ​​are no longer included with the installation, but are retrieved the first time the program is started. The full changelog looks like this:

• Add Full Unicode Support on WinNT-based systems (NT/2k/XP/2003/Vista)
• Language files are no longer included in the setup file. They are updated online at first run after installation. You can also download it manually by selecting “language->interface language->download language files”.

• Bug fix: 7+4 style zip code is now handled properly for location
• Bug fix: middle click to close tab for multiline tabs
