The Skype homepage has not only been given a new look, but a new version of the program can also be downloaded. The developers have recently put version 1.3.0.51 for Windows 2000 and Windows XP online. This version is by clicking this link to download. Skype allows you to call other users via Voice-over-IP, as it were. This does not require a subscription, just bandwidth to send the voice data back and forth.
