Software Update: Sisoft Sandra 2001te

Jimbolino writes to us that SiSoftware has released an update of its benchmark and information program SiSoft Sandra. In addition to a number of improvements, the update also contains a disadvantage, namely that it no longer supports Windows 95. Since practically no one uses this anymore, this will cause few problems:

• Enhanced GUI – can stretch windows and place them where you like!
• Support for P4 Xeon & AthlonMP SMP systems.
• ATA/ATAPI Info module added (Prof only).
• ODBC Databases Info module added (Prof only).
• Support for new hardware monitor chips.
• Fixed various issues with detection (chipset, system monitoring chips, etc.)

This release no longer supports Windows 95.
