Software Update: SAM 2005-1

A new version of SAM has been released, and since this is the first release of this year, it has been given version number 2005-1. SAM is a Unix mini LiveCD based on Mandrake Linux. This means that this distribution can be run from CD without being installed on the computer first. The ISO is no larger than 210MB, which means it will fit on an 8cm mini CD. Despite this size, the distribution still contains a full graphical environment, including office, internet, multimedia and graphics software. There’s even room for some games and some server-side software. The changelog of this version shows the following changes:
