Software Update: RaidenFTPD 2.4 build 2550

Spread the love

The developers behind the FTP server program RaidenFTPD have just released a new version. It concerns version 2.4.2550 and can be used as update be downloaded for an existing installation, or as full setup. The program can be used in three ways: as home, pro or advanced edition. The advanced version has all the options on board, the pro version lacks support for ODBC databases and the home version also has to do without SSL/TLS encryption. The changelog of this release seems suspiciously similar to that of the previous release, so we can’t tell you exactly what has changed. Nevertheless, we give it here, for completeness:

What’s new:

  • MODE Z real-time data compression transmission saves bandwidth
  • VLS – link multiple RaidenFTPD servers together and become a united FTP cluster
  • ODBC connectivity that supports MSSQL, MySQL, IBM DB2, MSAccess, PosgreSQL
  • VMP – Virtually Merged Partitions to combine multiple folders into one
  • Auto setup for UPnP NAT router / Internet Connection Sharing / Windows Firewall
