Software Update: Quintessential Player beta build 116

Spread the love

Paul Quinn released beta build 116 of his Quintessential Player today. This audio-focused media player plays mp3, ogg, wav and audio CDs and can also rip the latter. There is also a built-in MP3 encoder and support for streaming audio. In addition, this player is fully skinnable and has an extensive tag editor and CDDB support. Quintessential Player is free and contains no spy or adware. If you really appreciate this program, the maker will really appreciate it if you send him a postcard. This version only contains bug fixes and can simply be installed over the old version, except for a version older than beta build 115:

Development Build 116

I wanted a fast turn around for this build to address the issues raised in 115, so fixes were pretty much the focus.

This build does not contain further DB changes, so you should be able to update over 115 without any issues. Pre-115 users should do an uninstall first.[break]
