Download Quintessential Player beta build 112

Spread the love

Because Paul Quinn tries to release a new development build once a month, he was faced with the choice of releasing a build now with fewer changes than usual, or waiting longer. He chose the former, so now beta build 112 is ready for you. Quintessential Player is an audio-focused media player that plays mp3, ogg, wav and audio CDs and also rips the latter. There is also a built-in MP3 encoder and support for streaming audio. In addition, this player is fully skinnable and has an extensive tag editor and CDDB support. Quintessential Player is completely free and contains no spyware or adware. If you really appreciate this program, the maker will be very happy if you send him a postcard. This version comes without a changelog, but Paul did have the following to say:

OK, things were taking a long time so I had to make a call. Get a new build out now with less, or wait another couple weeks. Of course, I chose the former. I’d prefer to get builds out more than once a month, but right now that seems to be the pace.

So with that said, this build hopefully fixes some of the big stuff and adds little things like proper Watch Folder support and Win64 icon support.

The Development Guides I mentioned would be part of 112 are not ready yet. Still overhauling.[break]
