Software Update: QuickTime Alternative 1.39

As is so often the case today, the release of Real Alternative goes hand in hand with a release of QuickTime Alternative. The latter has arrived at version 1.39 and adds an mpeg2 plugin and fixes a glitch in the Opera browser. In case you didn’t already know, this software allows you to play QuickTime files in your favorite media player or in a browser, without having to install Apple’s software first. The changelog of this version, as mentioned above, looks like this:
