Software update: PowerStrip 3.58
PowerStrip is a handy all-in-one tool to tweak the video card and display. For example, it is possible to adjust the refresh rate step by step and to overclock the video memory. Yesterday, the folks at Entech Taiwan released version 3.58 of PowerStrip. The update is available for download in two flavors: the first variant only contains the English language pack, while it second package comes with multiple language packs. The developers have added support for the latest graphics processors from S3 and ATi in version 3.58 and made some minor tweaks:
PowerStrip 3.58 has been released, adding support for the latest GPUs from S3 and ATI, a custom resolution designer to assist in eliminating overscan on HD displays, and improved EIA/CEA-861B timings.
