Software update: Popcorn 1.57 beta 3
Popcorn is developed by Ultrafunk and is an email client for Windows. Electronic messages are sent and received via the POP and SMTP protocols. Multiple accounts can be used in registered mode, in contrast to the feeware variant in which only one profile can check the mail. The recently released third beta version of the 1.57 release includes the following changes and new features:

- New features:
- Popcorn now decodes base64 encoded mail body text in both text/plain, multipart/alternative and multipart/mixed MIME formats.
- Added “Safe download and delete” checkbox to the User Profile manager “Identity & Servers” tab under “POP3 Server” settings to replace manually setting/editing the POPUseUID variable in the Popcorn.ini file.
- Fixed a few bugs in the POPUseUID code introduced in 1.57 beta 1.
- Popcorn no longer automatically sends an e-mail when pressing the return key when typing in the To:, From:, Cc:, Bcc: and Subject fields.
